Me Vivian Kühnlein was born in 1968.
After obtaining his law degree at Lausanne University in 1990, he worked for several years as a court clerk in various sections of the Tribunal of the Canton of Vaud, for first and appeals instances.
Maître Kühnlein passed his bar exams in 1999 after an internship at Schmidt, Jaton and Partners. He has remained there ever since and became a partner in 2006.
His main activity is in construction and real estate law; for example, he deals with questions pertaining to work contracts, architectural or engineering contracts, landlord and tenant law, expropriations or building authorizations; he advises municipal councils and assists them in court. He obtained the title of Certified Specialist SBA Construction and Real Estate Law in 2015 after a Certificate of Advanced Studies (post grad diploma) in 2014. Benefitting from his experience at the Tribunal of the Canton of Vaud, he regularly appears before different civil and administrative courts; he also draws up contracts, particularly rental agreements.
He is also active in other legal fields/areas, such as family law, labour law and criminal law.
He practises in French and English.
